Mrs. Meyer's
7th Grade Life Science and
8th Grade Earth Science Homepage
tmeyer@aisd.net

For the 2011-2012 school year, I will be teaching both 7th and 8th grade science.  I will do my best to update this page every Monday so that you will know what is happening in your child's science class. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at the above address or call and I will do my best to respond as quickly as possible.

Please ask your child to summarize what they did in science everyday as a way of helping them to retain and recall the information learned. Each day we add new information and some science vocabulary is not used often in everyday language so explaining their science activities will help with retention of information.
Makeup quizzes are offered for students who do not make a 70 on each Friday's quiz. Seventh grade may come in during advisory on Tuesday's and eighth grade may come in during advisory on Thursday's of the week following the poor quiz grade.
