What's New??
Students in a previous year worked on designing and developing a Music Memory Matching game using the PowerPoint program. Each group of students researched a composer. Each group then worked on three slides for the game. Their work was graded using a rubric and then all the slides were linked together for the final game. We had lots of fun making the game and learned many valuable lessons. We hope you enjoy playing our game. Click on the link below to play the game. Class Game Project Goal: Students will relate music to history, to society and to culture by making a matching game using composers and compositions listed in the Music Memory curriculum and posting it on a website. (MusicTEKS 6.5)
Amos Elementary Music Schedule
Students at Amos Elementary in First through Fourth grade have the privilege to attend a music class EVERY DAY!
Students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade music classes study Music Memory, which is a music history curriculum.
