Students in grades 7- 8 pursuing excellence, may earn the Junior Scholar Award by expanding their reading beyond their required assignments.    At the awards assembly in May, these outstanding students are recognized by the entire school and receive a certificate.  Their names will also be engraved on a plaque in the library.

To receive the award, the student must complete the following:

2.    Complete the reading share sheet for each book not covered by Reading Counts tests.

3.    Participate in the Reading Counts Program.
