You will need map pencils, paper and pencil and pens, a spiral, a pocket folder and your assignment planner everyday.

All assignments made in class are due the next day unless stated differently. Ask you child to show you the work for that day and they should have it. I do not take up work the same day that I assign it.

Monday, April 30.......Finish and turn in Texas County Map.  Copy Morse Code in spirial and send a message to someone in class (draw names) Deliver message and de-cade and write a reply.

Tuesday,  May 1.......Make sure everyone has received and replied to a message.  Answer the 15 q        uestions from Chapter 11.  All answers can be found in captions or in pictures.

Wednesday,  May 2.......Turn in Chapter 11 questions.  Discuss the Civil War.  Chapter 12-1 Review Sheet.

Thursday,  May 3......Finish review sheet and turn in.  Map on page 277.  Follow directions on the board.

Friday, May 4........HOLIDAY

Monday, May 7........Finish map and turn in.  Map review on board (name the Confederate States of America -11 states)  Map drill.  Test on Tuesday over the 11 Confederate States.   Chapter 12-3  review Sheet.  

Tuesday,  May 8.......Map Test over the Confederate States.  Grade  chapter 12-1 review.  Finish Chapter 12-3 review sheet.

Wednesday,  May 9.......Redo Confederate Map Quiz.  Workbook page 39 (1-2-3-6-7-8).  Page 40  (all).  Grade  Chapter 12-3.  Return papers and record on grade sheet.  
*  Civil  War Test will be on Friday.  Study the Chapter 12-1 review sheet and map.  Draw  the 2 Confederate flags from the board on to  the bottom of your workbook page. Progress Reports go out today.

Thursday,  May 10.....Turn in Workbook pages.  Review for test.

Friday, May 11........Civil War Test.  Assign Childrens Book about the Civil War for periods 1-2-3-5.  Due on Wednesday.  Reconstruction Chart. (use people, places or vocabulary words that start with the letters in the word Reconstruction)

Monday,  May 14.......Finish Reconstruction Chart and discuss.  Work on Civil War Childrens book. ( periods 1-2-3-5)   

Tuesday,  May 15......1-2-3-5  will work on Civil War Childrens book.  6-7 will do  Cowboy Lingo sheet.

Wednesday,  May 16.......1-2-3-5 will finish Civil War Childrens book and turn in. 6 and 7 will write a letter home using 12 Cowboys terms.  All classes will copy Cattle brands from board.  Design a cattle brand for themself.

Thursday,  May 17.......Draw cattle brand on wall with name. Chapter 13-1 review sheet.

Friday, May 18.......Grade Chapter 13-1 Review.  Chapter 13-2 review sheet (cattle drives).  

Monday, May 21........Finish Ch. 13-2 review sheet and turn in. Map on page 305. Cowboy Vocabulary Sheet.

Tuesday, May 22...... Grade Chapter 13-2.  Work on Cowboy Vocabulary.  Turn in map.

Wednesday,  May23.......Chapter 13-3 and 4 (answer the circled one only)  Hand out Semester Review Sheets.

Thursday,  May 24.......Grade ch. 13- 3 and 4.   Open Book Test over chapter 13.

Friday,  May 25.....Work on Semester Reviews.  Answer all questions on Review Sheet.

Monday, May 28.......HOLIDAY...Memorial Day

Tuesday,  May 29........Work on Semester Reviews.    

Wednesday,  May 30........Periods  1-2-3 will take there Semester Tests. Early dismissal.

Thursday,  May 31.......Periods 5-6-7 will take there Semester Tests.  Early Dismissal.
